2月27日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻局局长、国防部新闻发言人吴谦大校答记者问。
记者：美军印太总部司令近日称，近年解放军在台岛周边活动明显增加，仅2月就向台岛周边多次派遣“间谍气球”和作战舰机。大陆“攻台”时很可能“用演习掩盖其真正目的”。另据台媒报道，有美军印太总部官员参与“汉光”演习兵推。请问发言人有何评论？

吴谦：关于你提到的具体战法，我在这里不作评论。两岸同胞都是中国人，我们愿意以最大的诚意、尽最大的努力争取和平统一的前景，但决不承诺放弃使用武力，这针对的是“台独”分裂势力和外部干涉。只要有人搞“台独”，就必然遭到人民解放军出其不意的迎头痛击。我们也警告美方一些人，别想在台湾问题上“偷鸡”，偷鸡不成蚀的可不止是一把米。
Wu Qian: I will not comment on the specific tactics you mentioned. Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one and the same Chinese family. We will strive for the prospect of peaceful reunification with the greatest sincerity and utmost effort. But we make no promise to renounce the use of force, which is targeted at the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces and external interference. Anyone who dares to push for “Taiwan independence” will certainly face swift and strong countermeasures from the PLA. And we warn some individuals of the US side: playing sneaky tricks on Taiwan would only backfire.
